About Dottie King

Dottie King's love affair with the art of photography began over thirty years ago in a bomb shelter turned darkroom in her front yard. Today she has transitioned from silver-halide crystals to megapixels and continues to enjoy the challenge of capturing a moment in time. In both vibrant color and classic black and white, her portraits and landscapes portray the beauty and details of daily life and the human condition in communities around the globe.

Dottie's photographs have been chosen to appear in galleries and juried shows throughout the country. She has received numerous awards including Best of Show. Her works hang in private collections in the U.S. and Canada.
